The included tutorial and training module “Rook versus Minor Pieces” is dedicated to one of the most important strategic problems in a game of chess. It explains how to play correctly in various middlegame and endgame positions with the rook against two minor pieces.

Explaining this is difficult in a hurry, but this module addresses precisely these cases and also comments on them in great detail.

The module contains more than 150 instructive positional and tactical examples from actual games back to the 19th century. Some of the games were played in championship competitions, others in tournaments.

The module is designed for the weaker to intermediate player (ELO between 1400 and 2000). However, even stronger players will find few examples too easy. Less experienced players can go through the examples several times and will make further progress with each pass.
